Often, when we are facing tough situations, we get so absorbed with what we are going through that we become identified with it and it becomes hard to look past the problems towards the solutions on the other side.
Based on the book “Inner Speed Secrets”, if we have $1.00 worth of an attention span and most of that dollar is being spent on the problem, then we do not have enough resources to spend on developing or finding the solutions to the problem.
Meditation is a tool we can employ to free our mind from distractions, control the never-ending chatter of our thoughts, and even enhance our ability to better understand and control our emotional swings and triggers.
Although meditation is often aimed at exploring the limits of our consciousness, it can also aid us in expanding our minds limitations reducing the mental traps that drag out our ability to problem solve.
