“The only constant in life is change”

And when being faced with change, we can approach it one of two ways:

Either with RESISTANCE or with ACCEPTANCE

Resistance tends to be our default, because when we resist, we can remain in our comfort zone where it is familiar and we have become accustomed to how we feel there.

Accepting change is challenging, as it puts us in a place of unknown.

When we accept change, we are forced to adapt to a new reality, as humans this is how we evolve.

Humans are creatures of habit. When we become comfortable with our situation, regardless of it’s consequence, we are unlikely to alter our condition.

We accept abuse, mediocrity and pain because it feels easier than venturing into the greatness that we know each of us houses within.

We accept doing work that causes us stress and misery, because a paycheck is easier than the challenge of pursuing our purpose.

We accept negative, even abusive relationships, because feeling secure is easier than feeling lonely.

But what if we committed to change?

What if we decided to not settle for good enough and began working toward making our life amazing?

What if we decided to turn the fear of change and embrace it with curiosity?

When we replace the fear of the unknown with curiosity we open ourselves up to the infinite stream of possibility.

We can let fear rule our lives or we can become childlike with curiosity, pushing our boundaries, leaping out of our comfort zones, and accepting what life puts before us.
